Tie-Neck Striped Sweater + The Comparison Bug

Happy Monday, folks!

If there’s one sweater to make you feel as fabulous as Jackie Kennedy, it’s this one (and it’s literally called the Jackie). It can be worn as a cardigan, or buttoned up and tied like I have it above. It’s a light, soft wool, and makes you look and feel so dressed up! I’ve paired it with jeans here, but have also worn it with dressier pants and heels, and a skirt, too. The best part, it’s on sale AND comes in two different colors (linking it below)! I’m loving the amount of bows I’m seeing this season. They’re so feminine but add a little something to the clothing.

In other news, Kevin and I finished watching The Office from start to finish again for the 100th time, and this quote at the end just hits me every time: “Be strong, trust yourself, love yourself, conquer your fears, just go after what you want. And act fast, because life just isn’t that long.” Truth be told, I’ve been struggling with the comparison bug a lot recently. That bug that makes you feel like you’re not good enough, and that everyone has it all figured out, and you don’t.

We’ve all been there. Social media these days presents the view that everyone has it all together. It’s easy to post the pretty. The perfectly staged photo of coffee, and that outfit you love. One thing I promised when I started this blog was to always, always, always be intentional. I want to talk about real issues. Things we all go through that people don’t want to shed light on because they’re afraid of looking like they aren’t perfect. Well friends, I am so far from perfect, but that’s ok. I’m continuing to figure out who I am, and whose I am. Whatever you’re battling today, know that you’re not alone. We all go through these moments. We as women have enough going on- let’s continue to build each other up, and love one another through these times.

Hope everyone is have a beautiful Monday!
